Thank you for auditioning for The Alliance Theatre’s production of Beauty and the Beast! There were 150 talented actors who auditioned for our show.
If you were cast, you only need to communicate with us if you do not wish to accept your role. Please e-mail Jan Reimer at janreimer@verizon.net by midnight, Monday, May 19th, 2008.
Of the 150 people who auditioned we were able to cast a total of 90 adults, teens and children. Our directors based their decisions on a combination of factors including the scores each person received o the vocal, dance and acting auditions. They were also guided by the mission of The Alliance Theatre, which is to provide children of all abilities with an enriching theatre experience, working with talented adult actors to produce a quality community theatre event.
We value everyone who came out to audition and if you or your child were not cast, please know that we would very much like to see them audition again in future Alliance Theatre productions.
There are also many ways to get involved in a community theatre production of this size. We would encourage you to join us as we build sets, make costumes and props, and a million other important production activities required to put on Beauty and the Beast.
If you were cast in the show, please check the website in the coming days as we will post important information about the mandatory adult and parent meeting on May 29th and other announcements regarding rehearsals and other details.
